DISTRICT INFO

Michael O'Brien has been a banker for 28 years, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. A graduate of the bank's credit training program, he has worked both domestically and internationally. His career has included positions in risk management, wealth management and corporate lending, both in New York City and London, England.

Michael will bring to the Bernardsville Borough Council a wide range of experience in both the financial and administrative areas. He currently leads a group of professionals in providing financing solutions and products to corporations in New Jersey.

Michael has been active in variety of volunteer organizations and efforts, including Junior Achievement, Women's Health and Counseling Center and Little League.

He and his wife , Mariel, have resided in Bernardsville for 14 years and have three children, all in the Bernardsville public school system.

Anthony Montagna is an attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in both the courtroom and the classroom.

He has taught law classes at both the National Academy of Paralegal Studies in Mahwah, NJ and the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria.

Anthony will bring to the Bernardsville Borough Council a wealth of experience, including over 20 years as a mediator, resolving municipal court cases in both Morristown and Newark, NJ . His private practice includes serving as corporate counsel for a New Jersey engineering firm. He is also the author of many professional legal presentations and publications.

Anthony previously resided in Madison, NJ, where he was active with the Madison Democratic Party. He and his wife, Carmen, have 3 children, including a daughter in the Bernardsville public school system.

Coffees, parties

Hosting a coffee or cocktail party in your home is the best way for the candidates to get to know the voters in a personal setting.

Campaign Assistance

We have many small tasks that need to be accomplished during the campaign season. These range from stuffing envelopes, handing out flyers, distributing lawn signs, and data entry.

Election Day Challengers

On election day, November 3rd, we will be staffing all voting stations with challengers. You can sign up for an entire day or for a 2 hour shift. Get out the Vote
